Mermaids & Me, LLC

This little blurb is to tell you more about myself without taking time away from  the children and their fantasy of meeting a real life mermaid.  My “human” name is Toni Veteri-Muntz and besides wearing a mermaid tail, I happily wear many “hats”!

• I am an educator- specifically, a special education teacher.  I have been teaching children in grades K through 12 of all different ability levels for over 18 years.  

• I am dual-certified in special education as well as elementary education.

• I am a licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), which I earned in 2016.  

• I am a wife and mother to my two beautiful children: my 3-year old daughter and my 6-year old son.

• I have loved mermaids since I was a child.  Once I discovered swimmable mermaid tails as an adult, I wanted to combine my love of mermaids, literacy, and children.  As a result, I created Mermaids & Me, LLC!

• Mermaids & Me, LLC gives me the freedom to be creative while spending time with children. 

• Everybody needs a mermaid!  I am happy to make appearances at birthday parties, community events,... plan and run story times and crafts for children,... educate children on self-advocacy, emotional regulation, and celebrating our differences while also coming together as a community of neighbors who are kind to each other.
